Tujunga, California
“In 2007 I bought a 1940 house in Tujunga, Ca. I soon discovered it got brutally hot. For 30 consecutive days during that first summer; the house would be over 100° INSIDE, when I got home from work. I also found out; the previous owners were willing to pay over $400/month for their utility bills in order to keep the house livable. I could not have made my mortgage payment if I ran the A/C that much. After installing the OASys cooling system, I have been able to keep the house comfortable for about $.25 per day! The savings are real and dramatic.”

“The attic
installation required for our home was a difficult challenge for the
installers, but they did an outstanding job of getting the OASys unit in
place. When the task was completed my wife and I were pleased with the
workmanship and performance of the system. The OASys is easy to operate
with its multiple fan options and auto run feature. My family enjoys the
evening comfort in the upstairs bedrooms and we don’t have to open the
windows to get fresh air. “

As a participant in the OASys initial trials run by Davis Energy Group, SMUD,
and the Speakman Company; Heather has been pleased with her OASys
supercooler. “When I came in the front door, I was always hit with cool,
refreshing air. I just loved it, and it was much less expensive than
conventional air conditioning. I leave the OASys running all day and use
just the fan at night to keep fresh air circulating through the house. I
really like the quietness of the unit as you don’t even know it’s running.”

“We’ve had
an early model of the OASys installed for the last 5 years and have been
very happy with the performance and the cool, comfortability provided by
this system, even when the temperatures outside reach the high 90’s. The
inside air is nicely cool and fresh without unpleasant odors.” “I pay the
bills”, states Laura, “and I especially love the energy savings. Last
summer my SMUD bill was around $100 while my neighbor across the street with
conventional AC was over $250. Also there is no upkeep to this unit; it’s
easy. The air that comes into the house is so comfortable.”

"I would simply say that with this as an option in Fresno, getting a conventional air conditioner would be crazy. Look at the money you'll save, not to mention the energy, and consequently the whole Earth. If the whole central valley converted every air conditioner to OASys, you could take all the saved power and sell it someplace else.
The most significant memory from last summer, our first OASys summer, was the tremendous August heat wave. Outdoor temperatures were over 100 every day; the OASys ran 24/7 (in auto cycle) for two weeks straight. Indoor temps were never above 77 (even though I do not have proper duct work or ceiling vents). I was braced for the big PG&E bill in September. I anxiously ripped open the bill when it finally arrived. Our combined gas/electricity charge for that month? $120. This is in an 1850 sq ft house.
Wow! I felt like a believer converted all over again. Meanwhile our winter PG&E bills are nearly $300. I can't wait for the money-saving summer months! Who in Fresno says that?"
